Low cost Optical software now includes a Diary and the NHS forms for Northern Ireland.

Since receiving an overwhelming response to their new software, Opticabase has been developed further to include the printing of NHS forms for Northern Ireland. This adds to the English and Scottish forms which were already set up. Opticabase is now being used in practices in England, Scotland, Northern and Southern Ireland.

By popular demand a new integrated Diary has been launched which enables full control of patient's appointments. Having been written by Optometrist Michael Prais, he was fully aware that Optometrists often have different times for their appointments, so the times are fully customisable. Like the main program everything is made simple and easy to use.

Some of the Opticians that have approached Michael have liked the fact that the data can be easily exported out of Opticabase should the need ever arise. They have said that with other Optical software that they have come across this is either very difficult or impossible.

Opticabase is low cost software designed for independent optical practices. For a one off fee Opticabase can be purchased along with full support in setting up the program as well as 3 months e-mail support. There are no on-going monthly costs unlike other optical software.

The main features of Opticabase are the printing of NHS forms and a flexible Patient Recall system. Inputting of patient details is simplified using a customizable dropdown box system.
