Post your letters directly from your computer for just over the cost of a 2nd class stamp.

How does it work?

When you click on print to print your letters (eg reminder letters) you choose a different printer from the dropdown box in the print window. The letters then get sent down the internet and printed by a machine which then folds the letters and puts them in envelopes and sorts them for posting.

So for the extra few pence over the 2nd class stamp cost you get included the ink, paper, envelope and most importantly the time that it would usually take someone to fold the letters, put them in envelopes and take them to the post box.

What is the catch? There is none. Due to the volumes of post that the service provider send out they get the postal price at a considerably lower price than we have to pay.

You can now send SMS text messages to your patients from within Opticabase.

• Send a text to confirm a patient's appointments.
• Send a text to notify that spectacles or contact lenses are ready.
• Send individual text messages.

This reduces the amount of time that staff spend on the phone.
